The Undertaker is a legend in pro wrestling, having entertained fans for more than 30 years. While he has long since retired, he still keeps an eye on whats happening in wrestling today. Thats why it comes as no surprise that he isnt a fan of those who break kayfabe on social media.
Last month, the WWE Hall of Famer made headlines forcriticizing modern-day professional wrestlers for not having pride in the business. He didnt just stop at that, as TheDeadman also criticized current day wrestlers for their in-ring abilitiesand stated how there isnt storytelling in the ring anymore.
While speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker talked about wrestlers who act differently on social media than they do in the ring, thereby breaking character. He finds it frustrating when wrestlers build a serious character but then act silly online, making it hard for fans to believe in them and then criticized them for the same. He tells wrestlers to stay focused on their character, especially when theyre still building their career, because this is their job and they should treat it seriously.
The Undertaker alsobelieves many pro wrestlers nowadays are fixated on light tubes. Nevertheless, many fans will likely agree with what The Deadman had to say, as it simply feels far too jarring when a wrestler breaks character on social media and displays mannerisms that are the exact opposite of their gimmick. Therefore, well have to wait and see if such pro wrestlers will pay heed to The Phenoms criticism.
