The Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia played host to the 2024 Crown Jewel event. It was a historic show in the Middle East, and the Womens Tag Team Title match was quite a highlight.
At Crown Jewel 2024, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair faced off against Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky of Damage CTRL, Meta-Fours Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, and the team of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven in a fatal four-way tag team match for the WWE Womens Tag Team Championship.
Each team received a full intro and entrance, while they all rocked their customary Saudi Arabian bodysuits instead of their regular gear. Bianca Belair and IYO Sky opened up the match, and they had a chance to show off a bit before Chelsea Green tagged herself in.
Lash Legend then tagged in as Jade Cargill had Chelsea Green in her arms, and Cargill threw Green at Legend, who just caught her and slammed her down. Then Lash and Jade got in each others faces to tease that potential future matchup. Jakara Jackson had a chance to come in next and the former Titan Games contestant had a chance to apply some offense.
This match continued, and they received This Is Awesome chants after there was one dive after another, and finally, Bianca Belair took Lash Legend over the top rope with a clothesline. Then Chelsea Green took a Jaded from Cargill, but Damage CTRL broke up the pinfall.
In the end, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven rallied on Meta-Four, but Jade Cargill moved and Green took the splash from Niven. Then Bianca and Cargill hit a Doomsday Device to retain the titles. This was a big win in Saudi Arabia, and the champions stood tall at the end of the match.
