Mercedes Mone hasmade a significant impact on AEW since joining, quickly establishing herself as a key figure in the promotion. Mone simply wants the company to grow and has now addressed AEW holding an all-womens pay-per-view or a weekly show.
As for Mercedes Mone possibly being the highest paid womens wrestler in the world right now,the CEO of AEW made it clear that she feels she more than deservesthis privilege as she has worked very hard to make it to that level in the first place.
There is simply no doubt that AEWs womens division is one of the most diverse and talented in professional wrestling. Back in the day, the womens division would always get criticism but its the exact opposite now.
While speaking to the Battleground podcast, Mercedes Mone was asked about AEW possibly holding an all-womens weekly television show or pay-per-view. Mercedes Mone made it clear she is enthusiastic about the possibility of a weekly womens show in AEW and hosting womens pay-per-view events. She believes there is ample talent in the division, citing wrestlers like Willow, Mariah May, Toni Storm, Serena Deeb, Kris Statlander, and Kamille as some of the best in the business.
Mone sees a clear opportunity for an all-womens show each week and believes that with the right support, AEW could have a womens revolution. She emphasizes that the female wrestlers are consistently performing exceptionally well.
WWE Evolution was the companys first-ever all-female Premium Live Event, held in 2018 and it was truly a success in many ways. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Mercedes Mone wants the same for AEW so well have to see if it will ever come to fruition.
