The Undertaker will forever be regarded as a legend in the world of professional wrestling. His contributions to the business will never be forgotten as he has given 30 years of his life and sacrificed his body. With that said, he has now defended his recent criticism for pro wrestling after getting backlash for the same.
Last month, the WWE Hall of Famer made headlines forcriticizing modern-day professional wrestlers for not having pride in the business. He didnt just stop at that, as TheDeadman also criticized current day wrestlers for their in-ring abilitiesand stated how there isnt storytelling in the ring anymore.
The Undertakers controversial comments regarding the current pro wrestlers and the product back in 2021 became a huge topic of discussion. He previously said that the WWE Superstars of the current era arenot real men compared to the wrestlers backin his era.
While speaking on his Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker defended his criticism of modern pro wrestlers, including his comments on wrestlers being soft and their passive-aggressive reactions on social media.
The Deadman also noted that in wrestling, and maybe everywhere, people often take criticism personally. He admitted that soft might not have been the best word to use, especially since he didnt expect his comments on Joe Rogans podcast to reach so many people. What bothered him most was seeing other wrestlers passive-aggressive responses on social media.
The Undertaker said he wishes people would focus more on why theyre not drawing, rather than spending time on social media. He clarified that his comments were meant to help pro wrestlers, not to tear anyone down.
The Undertakereven criticized wrestlers for breaking character on social media. Regardless, The Phenom has a right to his opinion as he simply wants to help the new generation of professional wrestlers and thats all that matters to him.
