Triple H is the COO of WWE and oversees everything that goes on in the company and naturally, that includes releases. The company ended up releasing a few key talent earlier this month, and now Triple Hs potential involvement in the latest set of releases has been revealed.
As reported earlier, Baron Corbin,Indi Hartwell, and Tegan Nox were all released in the latest slew of cuts from the company. While Hartwell and Nox were released, which means they have 90-day non-compete clauses, Corbin was simply told that WWE wont renew hiscontract and he will be a free agent once his current contract ends.
While speaking on Fightful Selects Q&A podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was asked whether Triple H was involved in the latest WWE releases. Sapp noted that he was not told whether Triple H had any involvement in the releases. He pointed out that two of the three wrestlers let go hadnt been used on television, which might mean WWE didnt have major plans for them. However, he also mentioned that Mustafa Ali was supposed to win the NXT North American Title before he was released, so sometimes wrestlers are cut even if there were plans for them.
Baron Corbin already received an offer from ex-WWE star Tyrus following his release, while Tegan Nox made it clear fans will see a side of her that had been long forgotten. Regardless, only time will tell if WWE will ever bring back any of the aforementioned talent to the company again in the future.
