Ricochet has garnered a lot of attention since he departed from WWE and took his talents to AEW. The former WWE IC Champion has a lot of eyes on him, and some of them are from other companies entirely.
Before his time in WWE, Ricochet had a run in NJPW and he forged many friendships and rivalries. Now that he is no longer in WWE, he is free to explore those opportunities, and it appears that one has presented itself.
Zack Sabre Jr cut an interview for NJPW, where he brought up Ricochet. After saying Welcome back, baby, to the One And Only, Sabre Jr then turned his attention to Ricochets hair as well.
Ricochet is not one to be outdone at all. He proceeded to drop a tweet in response, where he took a shot at Zack Sabre Jrs hairstyle. He did this by making a comparison with one of the greatest rappers to ever lived, but it is also a popular insult to white boys with blonde hair.
While not even posting a photo, Ricochet said, Hi kids, do you like Violence headass! Hahaha. Everyone knew this was an Eminem dig, and the comments in his replies seemed to indicate that everyone got the joke.
We will have to see if Ricochet and Zack Sabre Jr link up at this point. Ricochet is an AEW star, but that companys relationship with NJPW has made it very possible for wrestlers to walk through that Forbidden Door. If anything, it could be a very good addition to the pay-per-view of that name.
