AEW President Tony Khan is known to be one of the kindest and most generous individuals in the world of professional wrestling,despite his divided reputationlately. Thats why it comes as no surprise he made a substantial donation to assist Dutch Mantell while he deals with severe health issues.
Over the past year, Dutch Mantell and his wife Cathy have faced serious health issues, with Dutch dealing with sepsis twice. Their daughter Amanda is helping take care of them as they work on getting better, but they have a lot of medical bills and are having trouble paying them.
A GoFundMe page was set up to help, and many friends and colleagues have donated. So far, it has raised almost $70,000 at the time of writing. The biggest donations came from AEWs Tony Khan, who gave $5,000. Even Chris Jericho made a donation of $1,500. Naturally, fans always have respect for Tony Khans good deeds and thats never changing.
Tony Khan even made a generous donation to help those affected by the hurricane in North Carolina. Regardless, we hope Mantell will continue to get as much support as possible and eventually pull through from his current situation.
