Nelly Korda is the best player on the LPGA Tour 2024. Now untouchable in the points standings, the number 1 on the green in pink received the "Rolex Player of the year" award.

"It really means a lot to me, it was a season characterized by ups and downs, a thank you to all the people who helped me. It was a great team effort and I want to share this recognition with all of them", said the 26-year-old from Bradenton (Florida), gold medalist at the Tokyo Games. After Lilia Vu in 2023, the best player on the LPGA Tour is once again an American. Betsy King in 1993 and Beth Daniel in 1994 were the last two American pros to win this award in a row. And now Korda, who has missed the last two tournaments in Asia due to a neck problem, after having already won six tournaments this year, will also try to make the "Race to CME Globe", the FedEx Cup in pink, hers.
The Ladies European Tour (LET) is the professional golf circuit (proettes) created in 1979, based in England. Most of the golfers who participate are European but it is possible to see golfers of non-European nationality, the largest contingent of which is Australian. It is the equivalent of the LPGA for the European continent. Its mission is to organize and set up the various tournaments of the year, these can be organized outside Europe and/or be registered with another circuit (like the Evian Masters which is also registered on the LPGA Tour).

The Player of the Year, best player of the year, is a trophy whose winner is determined by a vote of the members of the circuit. This vote must reward the most brilliant player of the season.
The Rookie of the Year, the best debutant of the year, rewards the highest-earning player in her first season on the tour. This trophy was called the Bill Johnson Trophy from 1999 to 2003. It is now known as the Ryder Cup Wales Rookie of the Year.
