WWE NXT star Meiko Satomura has officially confirmed the date for her retirement match, marking the end of an illustrious 30-year wrestling career.

After reports in July hinted at her plans to retire in 2025, Satomura has now revealed that her farewell bout will take place on April 29, 2025. Sendai Girls Pro Wrestling announced a special event titled Satomura The Final, set to be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, starting at 11:30 a.m.

Satomura shared the announcement with a heartfelt message on Instagram, reflecting on her decades in the ring:

While her final opponent has not been disclosed, the wrestling legends departure from active competition will be a significant moment for fans and the wrestling world.

Satomura has remained connected to WWE, though her last televised match came on the March 23, 2023 episode of NXT, where she challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Womens Championship. She later appeared during WWEs July tour of Japan, even facing Bayley for the WWE Womens Championship in Tokyo.

Most recently, Satomura wrestled Takumi Iroha to a time-limit draw at the October 27 Marvelous event in Japan.
