WWE NXT has seen tons of growth over the past year and the brands strength in characters and storylines has truly taken it to the next level. WWE will be holding a special episode of NXT this week and it appears numerous stars will be absent from the show.
WWE announced thatNXT would be held on Wednesday, November 6 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, which used to be called the ECW Arena. The event will be shown live on The CW at 8 pm ET and there was already a lot of hype for the show.
NXTs General Manager Ava announced during the Halloween Havoc event thatDawn Marie will make an appearance during the November 6th edition of NXT. In addition to that, ECW legends Rob Van Dam and Francine are set to appear at the event as well.
According to a report by Fightful Select, several NXT wrestlers will not be making an appearance at tonights NXT show in Philadelphia, and fans certainly understand the reason for this as well.
Nonetheless, the ECW-themed episode of NXT tonight is sure to be one of the most memorable episodes in recent memory and we will have to wait and see if WWE will have more surprises in store for fans during the show.
