Raducanu pulled a concerning move but it was quickly cleared

After missing Beijing, Wuhan, Ningbo and Guangzhou, the expectation was that the former world No. 10 would make her return at the WTA 250 event in Hong Kong that took place last week.

But the British tennis star ended up withdrawing from the tournament and it raised concerns about her injury and BJK Cup appearance. However, those concerns were quickly dismissed by Raducanu herself.

I hope to be able to come back and play this tournament in the future! In the meantime, I am doing what I can to be ready for BJKC," she wrote on X on October 23rd.

In April, the 21-year-old won both of her singles matches against France and played a major part in Great Britain's away win. Now, Raducanu will be hoping to again come up big for her nation when Great Britain meets Germany in Malaga.
