Since arriving in AEW, Ricochet has received a lot of attention. His story continued this week on AEW Dynamite, as he teamed up with a mystery partner to take on two very dangerous challengers from the Don Callis Family.
Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher have been on a real heel tear recently. Takeshita won the International Title at AEW WrestleDream 2024 vs. Ricochet and a mystery partner.
As fans wondered who Ricochet would get as his partner, the bigger question may have been who wouldnt want a chance to shut up Kyle Fletcher and Konosuka Takeshita. After all, the Don Callis Family members have been getting on everyones nerves for a long time, especially with Fletchers recent jabs at Will Ospreay.
This match was the final contest of the night, and the heels got their entrances first. After the Don Callis Familys representatives came out, Ricochet made his way out. He had a microphone in his hand, and he also had a lot to say.
Ricochet called the Don Callis Family out for being stupid enough to let him pick his partner. Then he revealed that he discovered someones contract with the Don Callis Family ran out, and hes not happy about them. This is when Ricochet introduced Powerhouse Hobbs, who was making his return to AEW television.
Powerhouse Hobbs most recent match took place on April 24, 2024, during an episode of AEW Dynamite. In the match, Hobbs challenged Jon Moxley for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Moxley successfully defended his title. Now he is back, and hes not happy about the Don Callis Family forgetting about him, either.
