For the third year in a row, NXT Deadline will serve as the brands final premium live event of the year. General Manager Ava madd the announcement on the Nov. 6 episode of NXT. In this announcement she confirmed that the Iron Survivor Challenge will be back.
It the past two years, the Iron Survivor Challenge winners have gone on to have championship matches. The inaugural winner Roxanne Perez went on to face Mandy Rose and walk away as the NXT Womens Champion. Blair Davenport won last year, but wasnt able to take the gold off of Lyra Valkyria.
Qualifying matches for the five women who will take part in the Iron Survivor Challenge this year will start next week.
