While speaking on the Rewind Recap Relive podcast, Jeff Hardy talked about his creative work for the Full Metal Mayhem match at Bound for Glory. He explained how he suggested the idea to Tommy Dreamer, who liked it, even though it was a lot to prepare. Hardy asked for seven tables, ten ladders, though they only had five or six, and about eight chairs.
According to Jeff Hardy, the biggest job was the canvas. He hung it up himself and painted it over ten days, showing the process in a time-lapse on Instagram. Hes proud of bringing his vision to life. Hardy also mentioned that his brother Matt Hardy came up with the reimagined idea, which was a perfect fit for the match. He hinted they might do another reimagined version of Full Metal Mayhem sometime in the future.
Matt and Jeff Hardy have already celebrated their big title win and now they are focused on defending their tag team titles as much as possible. Jeff Hardys artistic involvement in the match truly made things even more memorable, and fans will always appreciate him for what he does inside and outside the squared circle.
