Jeff Hardy has been one of the constant fixtures on TNA television ever since he came back this year and he has worked with numerous stars since then, and that includes Joe Hendry. He performed a surprise concert with Hendry recently and has now confirmed he didnt rehearse for it at all.
Bound for Glory 2024 got fans excited on Saturday night, but the fun didnt end there. The next night, at the iMPACT Wrestling tapings on Sunday, October 27, Jeff Hardy and Joe Hendry gave the crowd at Wayne State Fieldhouse in Detroit a special treat with a live performance.
After Jeff Hardys TNA Tag Team Title win in a Full Metal Mayhem match, Hardy and Hendry returned to the stage, but this time not to wrestle. Instead, they performed Hardys famous song Modest, for the fans.
While speaking on theRewind Recap Relive podcast, Jeff Hardy revealed that he and Joe Hendry didnt rehearse at all for their surprise concert during the October 27th TNA Impact taping. Hardy noted he is really excited about the idea of performing a couple of original songs with Joe Hendry.
For this concert, they just went with the flowJoe quickly figured out a few chords for Hardys TNA theme, Modest, and they ran through it really briefly during sound check. With no real practice, they decided to go for it on stage. Hardy admitted it was tough, especially with the worry about injuries after recent events, but he still wanted to go out and perform. Hes hopeful they can do it again soon and maybe perform a new original song together.
Jeff Hardy even revealed the behind-the-scenes process of how he crafted the Full Metal Mayhem match as well. Regardless, fans were happy to see Hardy and Joe Hendry perform for them during the taping and well have to see when they will hold another concert again in the future.
