Paul George wasnt happy with the reception he received at the Clippers new stadium, the Intuit Dome, at his first game back in LA since signing with Philly.

Over the summer, George signed a four-year deal from the 76ers for $212 million during free agency, opting for that instead of the Clippers final offer of a three-year $150 million deal.

PG-13 also wanted LAC to include a no-trade clause as part of the deal, but the Clippers werent willing to play ball.

So, When Paul was being introduced before the Clippers-76ers game on Wednesday night and every time he touched the ball, he was met with a healthy amount of boos.

The fans even booed when the Clippers showed a tribute video of his highlights with the team during a timeout. Brutal.

Safe to say, PG-13 did not like it.

Its stupid, George said. I mean, I was a free agent. It wasnt something that I demanded a trade or went against the team here. Like, I was a free agent. The team presented something that was team-friendly, and I did what was best for me in that situation. So, there were some cheers. I appreciate them. Those were the ones that I played hard for. The boos, I didnt get it. I still dont get it But it is what it is. Its sports. Thats whats in sports. Yeah, I look forward to next year being here and more boos.

Unfortunately for George, his short time with the Sixers hasnt been all smooth sailing.

Hes been dealing with a bone bruise injury and has only played two total games for the team, including Wednesdays match against LAC.

As for the rest of the team, Joel Embiid has been caught up in off-court issues, Tyrese Maxey has suffered a hamstring injury and will be out for a number of weeks and the team is 1-6 on the season. Yikes.
