Chris Jericho is a true legend in the pro wrestling world and is alsoproud to be working in AEW, but he is undoubtedly proud of his father Ted Irvine as well. In fact, Jericho inducted his father into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame recently.
Chris Jericho is the son of Ted Irvine, who had an incredible career in the National Hockey League from 1964 to 1977. He has played for teams such as the New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Oklahoma Blazers and many more, having received numerous accolades during his career.
Le Champion took to his Instagram and uploaded a video of himself after inducting his father Ted Irvine into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame. Jericho expressed how meaningful the experience was for him. Ted Irvine, who wore #27, played over 700 games in the NHL and was instrumental in establishing Special Olympics Manitoba, creating sports opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Jericho shared his pride in carrying on the Irvine family legacy.
Chris Jericho continues to carry his family legacy by being one of the most iconic wrestlers in the business but his father is certainly a legend in his own right and its not hard to see why Jericho was so honored to induct his father into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame.
