Since their eerie debut on theJune 17 episode ofMonday Night Raw, The Wyatt Sicks have made a huge impact with their dark and unsettling presence. The faction, consisting of Bo Dallas, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Erick Rowan, has changed the face of WWE for good and now the inspiration behind the faction has been revealed.
The Wyatt Sicks have been victorious in in-ring competition whenever they have competed inside the squared circle, as they always ensure their opponent are dealt with in an effective manner while striking fear into their hearts.
While speaking in an interview with Chris McPherson from Collider, Bo Dallas talked about what inspired him and his brother Bray Wyatt when creating The Wyatt Sicks. Dallas mentioned that Stephen Kings book The Stand was a big influence on them. The Stand, published in 1978, was turned into a TV series in 1994 and 2020.
Dallas shared that he and Bray grew up loving horror movies, especially the 90s version of The Stand. When they were coming up with character ideas, they both used parts of Stephen Kings character Randall Flagg without even knowing the other was doing the same thing.
As for The Wyatt Sicks current plans, they are involved in a program with The Miz on WWE television as they kidnapped him and continued to torment him. Regardless, The Wyatt Sicks influence from Stephen King is quite apparent, and fans cant wait to see how WWE will book them in the coming weeks.
