WWE is certainly expanding its horizons when it comes to working with other promotions now. After all, WWE has been working with Pro Wrestling NOAH for quite a while now and has seen great results from the partnership. NOAH star Yoshiki Inamura also made his way to WWE and now his status with the company has been confirmed.
Earlier this week, Shawn Michaels welcomed Yoshiki Inamura, a standout from Pro Wrestling NOAH, to the WWE Performance Center as he began training there. Fans have been speculating if the Japanese wrestler might be joining NXT for a longer stay, given his presence at the center and the potential for an extended WWE career.
According toDave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Yoshiki Inamura from Pro Wrestling NOAH will be joining NXT. Unlike Giulia, who left Japan for a permanent move, Inamuras deal is more of an excursion. He is known for being a powerful, larger-than-life wrestler, which sets him apart from many of his peers in Japan.
Inamura had a memorable stint in Europe as Yoichi and recently had his biggest match on July 13, headlining Budokan Hall against GHC champion Kaito Kiyomiya, even though AJ Styles vs. Naomichi Marufuji was the real main event. However, Inamuras performance in the N-1 tournament wasnt as strong, as he finished tied for fifth in his block, behind wrestlers like Kenoh, Manabu Soya, and others.
As the partnership between WWE and Pro Wrestling NOAH continues to grow, fans are eagerly anticipating what other surprises WWE might have in store. In the meantime, they are excited to see Yoshiki Inamura develop as a competitor in the coming weeks.
