Chris Jericho has truly done it all when it comes to being a professional wrestler and hislove for AEW cant ever be doubted. He loves working with lots of top talent but sometimes he gets involved in controversies for one reason or the other. One such rumor concerned Jushin Liger and now Chris Jericho has cleared the air on that matter.

Jushin Thunder Liger wont be wrestling on the upcoming Chris Jericho Cruise at all. During an interview on the Grue Rume Show with Sonny Onoo, Onoo shared that Liger was asked to participate in the cruise. However, Liger quickly declined and made it clear he was too old to come out of retirement and wrestle.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Chris Jericho clarified that he never asked Jushin Liger to come out of retirement and wrestle on the January Jericho Cruise. Liger will be attending as one of the special guests, but Jericho explained that the rumor about him asking Liger to wrestle was fabricated by Sonny Onoo.
