WWE has expanded its influence to a worldwide scale, but there is always a way to strengthen their position in the wrestling industry. Some big scale plans can take time, but they are moving forward with various initiatives. That being said, some may have been forgotten over time.

Recently, during a Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about the status of NXT Europe. The project was announced some time ago, and fans have been waiting for updates.

It was stated that theres been little movement on NXT Europe in the past couple of years. An update was expected in Fall 2023, but Shawn Michaels mentioned that the recent merger put many projects on hold.

Earlier this year, there was no scheduled launch or announcement date for NXT Europe. It seems that plans for the brand have stalled for now.

WWE has multiple projects in motion, including those initiated before Endeavors takeover. WWE has also seen a lot of changes since their merger with the UFC, one where Vince McMahon made it clear that the deal excluded BPR. As a possible result to so much going on, NXT Europe has seemingly taken a backseat.

Fans in Europe are still hoping for an extension of NXT, and it just might happen eventually. WWE previously launched NXT UK, but the brand was ultimately shut down, largely due to the pandemic and changes in WWEs developmental system.

Do you think NXT Europe is ever going to happen? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
