Welcome to Wrestling Inc.'s live coverage of "AEW Collision" on November 9, 2024, coming to you from theAmica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island!
Tag team and trios action takes center stage on this Saturday's "Collision," which will be main-evented by an AEW World Trios Championship match. Representing the newly-renamed Death Riders, the team of Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC make their fourth defense of the belts since winning them at Wembley Stadium; their opponents are three of the diverse and unpredictable members of The Conglomeration Kyle O'Reilly, NJPW star Tomohiro Ishii, and former ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe. Given the main event of the upcoming Full Gear PPV, it wouldn't be the least bit surprising to see Conglomeration member Orange Cassidy or AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, leader of the Death Riders, appear before the night is done.

Speaking of Full Gear, the trios title match isn't the only high-stakes contest on the card, as The Outrunners clash with TopFlight as part of the 4-WayContenders Series to determine three challengers for Private Party's newly-won AEW World TagTeam Championship. In more trios action, the House of Black take on the IronSavages and Jacked Jameson, while a trifecta of singles matches rounds out the show Nick Wayne vs. AR Fox, Roderick Strong vs.The Beast Mortos (as Strong continues to try and lure "Beast" from LFI to the Undisputed Kingdom) and Full Gear TBS title challenger Kris Statlander in action. "Collision" is also set to feature appearances from AEW World Women's Champion Mariah May,Anna Jay, The Acclaimed, and LioRush, who teased on social media that he has something "weighing heavy on my mind."

TonySchiavone's voice is in our ears, the House of Black make their way to the ring to start things off, and we are live!
The House of Black make their goth-y way to the ring, and now Jacked Jameson has a mic as he comes out with the Iron Savages. Jameson says they have new gear, they run the best gear, and AEW is headed into FullGear but they don't have a match. So the way they see it, once they beat House of Black tonight, they're taking their spot in the 4-Way Contenders Series and winning the tag titles from Private Party themselves.Because they are IronSavages and they are taking all of us to TittyCity, as per usual!

Brody King and Boulder are in the ring first. Boulder is taunting King and holding his singlet open, so King hits a double overhead slap to the chest. Boulder goes to tag in one of his partners, but they both jump off the apron and encourage Boulder to drink so Savage Sauce instead. He does, but gets hit with a big boot and then a lariat. Buddy Matthews tags in and hits a kick, then goes for a running move in the corner but Boulder moves and tags in Jameson.Jameson flexes in front of HoB but Matthews hits a flurry of strikes. He tags Black, who trips up the IronSavages and gets them into a compromising position.King hits a senton on both of them. With the Savages and Jameson on the outside, Matthews and Black hold the ropes open for King, who comes off the ropes with a massive suicide dive. Black hits a spin kick, then Matthews hits a Jackhammer, and they combine for a double knee lift on Jameson.Brody is barking in the ring and roars; he hits a Cannonball while the other two members of HoB hit running kicks simultaneously from the apron. King makes the pinfall and it's over.

Winners: The House of Black
Commentary reminds us that House of Black is up against FTR in the 4-Way Contenders Series, and hey, now FTR are here! How about that? Dax and Cash come out, Cash has a microphone as does Black. FTR gets in the ring. Black asks what they can do for them, Cash says to calm down, they come in peace. They've had ladder matches and cage matches with HoB that have taken years off their careers, but now they're just here for business. Dax says for the last four years he's sacrificed everything to be AEW tag champions. Nothing changes except for the obstacle, and right now HoB are that obstacle. Dax says FTR and HoB built "Collision," but for the first time ever on "Dynamite," HoB vs. FTR (the absolute best tag team on this planet). But the one question is, who's it gonna be? Black leans in close to Dax and says, "Good luck," then drops the mic. FTR leave the ring as their music plays.
Tony Khan has confirmed that Swerve Strickland will take on Bobby Lashley at Full Gear.
Lio Rush is backstage and says he can feel a shift happening, and they're all a part of it. There's a recurring thing with Rush being AllElite again, which is that his past is forcing him to make a decision. Which is why he's held onto MVP's card. He says this is a golden ticket, a decision he has to make, involving people who like to conduct business in a way that he used to agree with. MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley. Rush says he beat Ariya Daivari last week and Komander last night. He's heating up and he's about to be on fire. He's feeling great but he wants to feel greater, he wants to feel alive again. Which is why next week on "Dynamite," he's calling out Swerve Strickland.
