Marvel fans were buzzing this weekend after the trailer for Captain America: Brave New World premiered, and eagle-eyed viewers thought they spotted WWE Superstar Seth Rollins at the 1:44 mark. Rollins, who is listed on IMDb as having a role in the film, seemed to be masked up in the brief clipat least, thats what fans believed.
But Seth himself was quick to set the record straight. Taking to social media, Rollins shut down the speculation with a straightforward reply:
Not me, kid. Sorry, he posted, putting the fan theories to rest.
Marvel Studios dropped the action-packed trailer on November 9, igniting excitement for the upcoming film, which follows Sam Wilsons journey as Captain America. Rollins denial, however, leaves fans wondering when and where his involvement will be revealedor if its been overstated altogether.
