John Cena has been given the opportunity to get some amazing roles under his belt, and his role in the Suicide Squad spawned a television series for the Peacemaker character. After a well-received first season, he is coming back for season two.
James Gunn confirmed Peacemaker Season 2s release date is after Superman. Peacemaker Season 2 will premiere in late 2025, but fans hadnt seen much more than that. Now, we have a teaser trailer.
John Cena tweeted out to share a teaser trailer for Peacemakers second season. He also noted in the caption that fans wont have to wait much longer to see the second installment in the Max shows saga, because 2025 is the landing time frame.
Although John Cena didnt reveal the exact date that fans should expect Peacemaker season 2, the announcement of 2025 has to get fans excited. After all, we are only 30 days or so until we wrap up the end of 2024.
We will have to see what kind of ground John Cena breaks with Peacemaker season 2. After all, he has a big 2025 in store for him anyway, especially with his WWE retirement tour set to take over the majority of the year.
John Cena will return to WWE for around 35 dates on that retirement tour, although we dont know exactly how many times he will wrestle. At least we know that he will get plenty of action in as The Peacemaker during that time as well.
