Five years after the last time, Italgolf will once again boast three players at the DP World Tour Championship, the final act of the play-offs of the top men's continental circuit scheduled for November 14-17 in Dubai. Along with Matteo Manassero and Guido Migliozzi, among the 50 competitors who will take part there will also be Francesco Laporta. The Apulian, with the 13th place - with a score of 270 (64 69 69 68, -18) - obtained in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship won with 264 (64 61 73 66, -24) by the Englishman Paul Waring, moved from 60th to 52nd place in the ranking relating to the order of merit.
With the absences in Dubai of Spaniard Jon Rahm and Swede Ludvig Aberg, the 34-year-old from Castellana Grotte (Bari), thanks to a good end to the season (four consecutive Top 20s), has earned the chance to participate in the DP World Tour Championship (10,000,000 dollars up for grabs) which will crown the best player on the circuit.

Abu Dhabi, results
On the Yas Links course (par 72) in Abu Dhabi, Paul Waring, 39, from Birkenhead, surprisingly celebrated the second exploit of his career on the DP World Tour (which earned him 1,530,000 dollars), after a fast that lasted since August 19, 2018 (when he won the Nordea Masters in Sweden), overtaking his compatriot Tyrrell Hatton (champion in 2021), 2/o with 266 (-22) ahead of another Englishman, Matt Wallace, 3/o with 267 (-21) alongside Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy (number 3 in the world and leading the Race to Dubai) and Danish Thorbjorn Olesen. Guido Migliozzi, 52/o with 279 (68 71 69 71, -9), and Matteo Manassero, 59/o with 281 (-7) did not shine. Both Venetians have moved up from 14th to 19th and from 6th to 10th in the order of merit. However, both have kept their chances of playing on the PGA Tour in 2025 intact. At the end of the DP World Tour Championship, in fact, the top 10 players (not otherwise exempt) of the Race to Dubai will punch their ticket to America. As of today, both would be in. And if Manassero seems really close to the finish line, Migliozzi will have to show off a noteworthy performance in Dubai to crown his PGA Tour dream.
