In a recent interview, Kurt Angle described Corbin as underrated and expressed disappointment that Corbins win over him didnt help Corbins career. Angle even felt his retirement match against Corbin was wasted since it didnt elevate Corbin as he had hoped.
In response to Kurt Angles comments, Baron Corbin took to social media to express his gratitude. He shared that one of his biggest wishes was to have become world champion, as it would have honored what Angle did for him by choosing him for the WrestleMania 35 match. Corbin expressed his deep appreciation and regret, saying he wished he could have achieved more in WWE to make Angles gesture truly meaningful.
