Jim Johnston remains one of the most iconic music composers in pro wrestling history but he was fired by WWE back in 2017, shocking fans. He keeps up with the current music in pro wrestling and it appears he has criticized the same.

The pro wrestling world is constantly evolving and something that used to be accepted in the past, might no longer be seen the same way now. The same can be said when it comes to pro wrestlers in general. A wrestlers entrance theme is undoubtedly one of the most important aspects of their overall presentation. A weak entrance theme would only do more disservice to the wrestler than anything else.

While speaking in an interview with Hannibal TV, Jim Johnston talked about the music in modern-day pro wrestling. Jim Johnston shares his disappointment with the current state of music in pro wrestling, saying it lacks the heart and excitement it used to have. He believes that the right music can make a huge difference, turning something that seems empty into something powerful and full of feeling. However, he feels that todays wrestling music all sounds the same, with no real story or connection to the characters. Instead, its just loud and packed with sound effects.

Johnston thinks this problem is largely due to big corporations that focus too much on making money. These companies sign long-term deals, so theyre more interested in just producing content than making it good. He notices this is an issue in many big companies, where the people in charge dont seem to use the products theyre selling.

As a result, customers get frustrated with things like hard-to-open packages or missing instructions. Johnston remembers when companies cared more about making high-quality products, and he believes that real leadership is needed to bring that back. He thinks newer companies, trying to prove themselves, understand that they need to make the best products and create the best experience for customersvalues that large companies often lose sight of.

There are many fans who would agree with what Jim Johnston said as there is certainly a lack of depth and variety in music nowadays and we hope someday, music will go back to how it was once in the business.
