Darby Allin has been a cornerstone of AEW since its early days, embodying the spirit and resilience the promotion prides itself on. Now, with Bryan Danielson stepping away from full-time competition, Allin believes its time for him to claim the spotlight as the new face of AEW.
During a recent interview with D. Scott on JAMZ96.3, Darby made his intentions clear. I really feel like Im ready for that spot, he stated confidently. Known for pushing limits both inside and outside the ring, Allin explained that his daredevil stunts arent just for show.
The risk-taker added, Its just getting stronger mentally. I firmly believe when you risk your life on a monthly basis, its going to make you pretty strong mentally and I feel like Im ready to be the face of this whole company.
In a show of just how serious he is, Allin has announced plans to climb Mount Everest in April 2025. This monumental feat reflects his relentless pursuit of challenges, proving his claim that hes ready for anything AEW throws his way.
With Danielsons departure, the timing couldnt be better for Allin to step up. Fans can only wait to see if his daring outside-the-ring exploits translate into leading AEW into its next era.
