WWE history is filled with huge events and iconic pay-per-views. For someone unfamiliar with WWE, knowing where to start can be challenging. Thankfully, The Rock has the perfect suggestion.
Every wrestling fan has their own way of introducing someone to the world of sports entertainment. Some highlight their favorite match, storyline, or wrestler. Others may use a fantastic documentary like Beyond The Mat or one of WWEs many offerings like Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal to give someone a better picture of what pro wrestling is all about. Still, others prefer showing off an entire event that captures what pro wrestling is to them.
The Rock believes the best introduction to wrestling is WrestleMania. While speaking with Complex, he shared his recommendation.
WrestleMania 1 stands out as one of the most important events in WWE history. It showcased wrestling on a new platform, changing how the sport was presented and perceived. Alongside the main event featuring Hulk Hogan and Mr. T against Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper, the card included Andre the Giant versus Big John Studd and Wendi Richter, with Cyndi Lauper in her corner, taking on Leilani Kai.
WWE has presented 40 WrestleMania events, but The Final Boss suggests that fans start from the beginning first. Of course, fans who want to get up to date with the latest storyline may need to start their WWE intake a bit more recently.
We will have to see when The Rock returns to WWE. He has made appearances in recent memory, and he will be around for RAW on Netflix. That being said, The Rock made it very clear that hes paying close attention to The Bloodlines current stage in their ongoing saga.
