The Bullet Club was one of the hottest acts in professionanl wrestling at one point in time and they made headlines when they invaded an episode of Monday Night RAW several yeras ago and Marty Scurll has now revealed Triple Hs reaction to the invasion.
Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Adam Hangman Page and Marty Scurll with Brandi Rhodes appeared outside the arena for Mondays RAW in Ontario, California back in September 2017 and it was something that was planned months in advance as well.
While speaking onThats Wrestling, Marty Scurll talked about The Bullet Club invading RAW. He mentioned that the idea was initially suggested by The Young Bucks because they thought it would be funny. At first, some people criticized it, comparing it to WCWs tactics or saying it was just a rip-off of DX. But the Bucks were deliberately doing a parody, and they were all on board with it. Scurll remembers how the Bucks came up with the plan and how everyone was excited to make it happen.
They had to travel a long distance, and Scurll recalled flying in, hiring a limo, and driving through the mountains with Cody and Brandi to get to the location. The Bucks were confident, and Hangman Page was all in, but Cody was a bit more cautious, wanting to know the details before proceeding. He didnt want to cause any trouble with WWE, and neither did Scurll, who figured WWE would understand that it wasnt a serious attempt to cause chaos.
At one point, they were so close to getting into the building that they even had the driver turn left, heading toward the entrance. For a moment, everyone thought they were really going to invade RAW, but security quickly stopped them, as the plan wasnt to do it during the show. Scurll reflected that maybe it would have worked better if they had done it during RAW, but they also realized that doing so could have caused problems with their contracts with Ring of Honor and New Japan.
The situation escalated when they learned about Triple Hs reaction as he had sent a text to everyone in WWE, warning them about the invasion. Despite this, Jimmy Jacobs came out to greet them. They hung out with him briefly, and Scurll even mentioned that Jacobs took a selfie with them. Unfortunately, Jacobs was fired for his involvement in the incident, which Scurll felt bad about, as it wasnt his fault.
The Bullet Club have now been divided into numerous sections in NJPW and other promotions but fans will always remember the days of the original Bullet Club and their antics and thats all that matters to them.
