Nash believes it would be impossible for Donald Trump to keep many of the promises he made after becoming president. Nash pointed out that things like mass deportations are not practical. He explained that even with thousands of ICE agents, there arent enough to carry out such a huge task. Deporting millions of people would be very difficult to organize and cost a lot of money.
Nash also mentioned the challenges of finding places to detain people and the high cost involved, with estimates ranging from $88 billion to $315 billion just for deporting a million people every year. Nash doubts these promises could ever be realistically achieved because of the huge logistical and financial issues.
