NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis and receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine gave the fans at Nissan Stadium a jolt when they connected for a 98-yard touchdown Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Titans lined up in shotgun after two plays that barely made it out of the end zone. Levis stood tall in the pocket and launched a deep pass to Westbrook-Ikhine between cornerback Stephon Gilmore and safety Josh Metellus.
Westbrook-Ikhine tracked the pass down and outraced the Vikings' defense to the end zone as the crowd went wild.
The completion was the longest pass play in the NFL since the Bills' Josh Allen found Gabe Davis for a 98-yarder in Week 5 of 2022, according to ESPN Research. Levis' previous career-long pass play was a 61-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins in Week 8 last season.
Westbrook-Ikhine was clocked at 21 mph on the play, and the touchdown cut the score to 16-10 late in the third quarter.
