Former WWE NXT referee Drake Wuertz, who is now known as Drake Younger, is at the center of controversy once again. He claimed to have confronted John Wayne Murdoch in the parking lot after GCWs NGI9 event. Now, we have even more commentary on the situation.
Murdoch responded to the claims, providing a different version of events. He implied that Drakes actions may have been influenced by substance use.
Joey Janela saw the recent press that Drake Younger is getting. He fired off a post on X to absolutely bury the former WWE referee.
Janela did not hold back at all, as he brought up Drake Youngers alleged drug use, along with dragging him for throwing away a career in WWE, where he was able to be a referee with a hefty paycheck. Now, Younger is a deathmatch wrestler, and hes apparently not doing well.
Drake Younger caused a lot of controversy over his career, and it appears that hes not done yet. Only time will tell what headlines he brings to his name from this point on, but were hoping that he is able to get back on the right path.
During this time in WWE, Drake Younger was suspendedfrom the Performance Center due to a variety of issues. All the while, Drake stirred up a number ofcontroversies due to his right-winged platform, including coming forward with anti-LGBTQ stances and Q-Anon adjacent theories.
Drake Younger did run for office as a Florida State Representative. Although he did not win, Matt Riddle donated to his campaign.
