Former WWE star Celeste Bonin, famously known as Kaitlyn, might just be making a return to the ringif the right opportunity comes knocking.
The powerhouse performer, who snatched victory in NXT Season Three and reigned as WWE Divas Champion before departing in 2014, hasnt been part of the wrestling scene since a brief comeback for the 2018 Mae Young Classic and a cameo at WWE Raw Reunion in 2019. But dont count her out just yet.
In a recent interview with The A2theK Wrestling Show, Bonin dropped some serious hints about the possibility of stepping back into the WWE spotlight for a future Royal Rumble appearance. When asked if shed ever return for the fan-favorite match, Bonin shared, It depends. Im always down to do something cool. If its cool and fun and makes sense, Im always down for that.
She revealed that a few years ago, she almost had her big Royal Rumble moment. I had gone to a Royal Rumble a couple years ago where there was a possibility that I was gonna be in it, and it ended up not unfolding, Bonin said.
Now with a new life outside the squared circle, she remains open to any opportunity that aligns with her current path. WWE is such a big part of who I am. So Im always down for stuff that makes sense It just hasnt really unfolded that way yet, she added.
Though theres no confirmation on a potential return, Bonins enthusiasm has sparked plenty of chatter among wrestling die-hards.
