Swerve Strickland has had an amazing 2024, holding the AEW World Championship and giving fans plenty of exciting moments. Currently, hes in a big feud with The Hurt Syndicate and is scheduled to face Bobby Lashley at Full Gear. However, it seems he might have gotten injured before the match.
The feud started when Swerve refused to join MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashleys group at AEW WrestleDream. Since then, things have heated up, and The Hurt Syndicate has attacked Swerve several times and it would led to AEW confirming a match between Strickland and Lashley at Full Gear on November 22nd.
Swerve Strickland took to Twitter and uploaded an X-ray of his shoulder and collarbone, seemingly confirming he is currently injured as he wrote,These Hurt Syndicate beatings take a toll. Judging by the X-ray, Stricklands collarbone seems to have been dislocated completely but no details regarding his injury were given.
Fans certainly hope Swerve Strickland doesnt end up taking time off due to injury and miss his match against Bobby Lashley at Full Gear. However, his health is ultimately more important and we will have to wait and see if AEW will make any official announcement regarding Swerves health status.
