The clash set the stage for an electrifying WarGames match at Survivor Series: War Games, marking Ripleys in-ring return following a real-life injury.
Ripleys recent hiatus came after suffering a broken orbital bone, an injury that was scripted into the October 29 NXT episode when Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were seen attacking her in the parking lot. Taking to Twitter, Ripley made a bold statement with an image of her medical scan and the chilling caption: Mistake no.1, you left me breathing.
