WWEs Independent Development program is bringing a lot of names to the forefront as they are getting a much closer look from the company. They have announced several names already, but there are a few more that the company is keeping to themselves for now.
The company has announced the WWE ID signings of Bryce Donovan, Cold Brew Cappuccino Jones, Zayda Steel, Zara Zakher, Sean Legacy, Cartwheel Jack Summit, Marcus Mathers, and Sam Hardaway Holloway at this point. They arent finished yet, and one name may be a bit larger than others.
Sean Ross Sapp noted on Fightful Select that there are still a number of WWE ID names that have already been nailed down that havent been announced yet. Including one that is more high profile than the majority.
We will have to see what WWE does next with their ID program. They are just getting things going, so only time will tell how it may help create a streamline for those wrestlers to take their talents from the indies onto WWEs much larger platform.
WWE also announced a recent crop of Performance Center signees. Lance Anoai and Evander Holyfields son, Elijah, were spotted among that class. So, WWE will keep that system going along with the WWE ID program.
The company seems to have a lock on the future of pro wrestling, as they ensure that there will be plenty of Superstars to come up and freshen up the WWE main roster for years to come with these programs. Keep checking back with us here at Ringside News for more on everything they have coming in the pipeline.
