Anthony Bowens, one of the most popular stars in AEW, is a proud representative of the LGBTQ community in general and he has now responded to a very insensitive fan question regarding his sexuality.
The former AEW Tag Team Champion has been open about his identity from the beginning. He has become a symbol of hope and inspiration for many within the LGBTQ community and fans continue to respect him because of that.
Bowen recently held a Q&A session on Twitter after his flight got delayed as he answered various questions. However, one fan asked a very homophobic question to Bowens with a racial slur, asking, N*****, why you gay?
Anthony Bowens took to Twitter and gave a very respectful answer to the fans question, as he simply said that being gay is simply who he is and he loves being that way, saying, Its part of who I am and I love it. I hope you love yourself too.
The fan wasnt satisfied with that answer, claiming in another tweet that he was simply curious why many people would apparently make the choice to be gay when women are so beautiful, saying, No disrespect, Im just curious as to why so many people would make the choice to be gay when women are so beautiful. But you do you, dawg.
Earlier this year, Anthony Bowens was also named the 2024 PRIDE Grand Marshal and he was very proud of this achievement. Thats why its simply unfortunate Bowens had to deal with such fans who question his sexuality all the time, as Bowens has the right to live life the way he wants to.
