Roman Reigns has been focused on getting his Uah Fala back from Solo Sikoa since he made his big SummerSlam 2024 return. There are a lot of other challenges that he could face on the WWE roster, including a rivalry with CM Punk. The Second City Savior seems to be all about making that leap into a big-money feud with Roman Reigns.
CM Punk has competed against some of the top names in wrestling. Now back in WWE, he is focused on his future with the company and the opportunities it brings. He also acknowledges that a big-money match is always a possibility.
While speaking toPeter Rosenberg at ComplexCon, CM Punk was asked about potential dream match opponents. He mentioned a lot of people he would like to face in WWE at this point, but he also knows that he only has so many matches that he can actually do.
When it comes to locking up with Roman Reigns, CM Punk did acknowledge that they are on different brands. That separation between brand lines may keep them apart, but WWE is only so big at this point.
Right now, Roman Reigns is focused on Survivor Series, which will see his O.G. Bloodline take on Solo Sikoas crew in a WarGames match. Only time will tell how that turns out, but the Bloodlines saga is far from finished.
WWE has Roman Reigns and CM Punk locked into deals for a while, so its not out of the question that the two will come face-to-face eventually. Obviously, CM Punk is waiting for that day to come around. In the meantime, he also has a few other opponents that he can go through first on his list of dream matches on the current roster.
