LeBron James seems to be sick of the internet and the constant jokes and negativity, so much so hes taking a break.
Lakers rookie Dalton Knecht has a crazy 37-point game against the Jazz last night and LeBron was asked about it. He clearly knows about the endless memes.
Everybody on the internet calls me a liar all the time. They say I lie about every f*cking thing. So what am I now? LeBron asked reporters after the game when he was asked about Knecht.
I watched him. I watched Tennessee a lot. I watched Tennessee a lot. I didnt think he was going to fall to us. I thought it would be impossible. I have no idea how that happened, he said of how the Lakers ended up landing Knecht at No.17.
Then, just hours later, LeBron announced that he is going to a take hiatus from social media.
He first re-posted a message from Kevin Durants longtime agent, Rich Kleiman, about how much negativity there is on social media message he wrote on October 25.
With so much hate and negativity in the world today, it confuses me why some of National sports media still think that the best way to cover sports is through negative takes, Kleiman said. We can all acknowledge that sports is the last part of society that universally brings people together. So why cant the coverage do the same? Its only click bait when you say it. When the platform is so big, you can make the change and allow us all an escape from real life negativity. I for one find it all a waste of breath. The Olympics and JJ and Brons show was the future of what this can and should all be.
Then Bron followed that up with a mic drop.
