In an interview with SB Nation after a series of losses, Toni Storm stated she was not used to losing and felt like she failed everywhere, including AEW, Japan, and Mexico. She also said AEW did not need her and told fans to support Mariah May as the new champion. To add to the drama, Storm added that she had no plans to appear in public again andclaimed that she hadretired from professional wrestling.
While speaking during the AEW Full Gear media call, AEW President Tony Khan was asked if Toni Storm was retiring, but Tony Khan shut down the idea. He stated that reports of her demise are greatly exaggerated and assured everyone that she still has a bright future in wrestling.
Therefore, fans will be happy to know that Toni Storm will not be retiring from professional wrestling anytime soon. Now it is simply a matter of time before the former AEW Womens Champion will make her triumphant return to television and likely reignite her feud with Mariah May.
