AEW Rampage will no longer air on television as part of AEWs new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery and this didnt come as a surprise for many fans. Since Rampage debuted on August 13, 2021, it had some memorable moments. However, due to declining viewership and a shift in strategy, Warner Bros. Discovery has decided to remove it from their programming lineup.

AEWs new multi-year deal with Warner Bros. Discovery guarantees that Dynamite and Collision will keep airing on their networks. However, AEW Rampage, which has seen a drop in ratings, is not included in the new deal. TruTV and Rampage were not mentioned in the official announcement, and AEW previously confirmed that Rampage will air its final episode by the end of 2024.

While speaking during theAEW Full Gear media call, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the future of AEW Rampage and whether it will continue as a weekly show in 2025. Khan explained that while Rampage isnt included in the current Warner Bros. Discovery media rights package, he is looking into other options for where the show or other AEW programs could be placed.

Tony Khan also pointed out the value of AEWs extended deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, which provided a major financial boost, and mentioned that David Zaslav has stressed the importance of this deal.
