Adam Coles time in AEW has been plagued with injuries, but he is still determined to do as much as he can in Tony Khans company. There is a long list of people he would like to face, and WWE Hall of Famer Adam Copeland is right on top of that.
Although Adam Cole failed to get a match against MJF at Full Gear, there are other people he can wrestle. That being said, Adam Copeland is not available right now, due to his ongoing injury hiatus. Cole is waiting for the former Edges return to the ring so he can make a match happen.
While speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Adam Cole listed the Rated R Superstar as a man who he really wants to get in the ring with. This extends to outside AEW as well, because he really wants to get in the ring witih Adam Copeland.
It stands to reason that Adam Copeland may want to wrestle Adam Cole too. He entered AEW with the intention of locking up with people he has never been in the ring with before. Tony Khan hasnt been able to book Cole vs Copeland yet, but its not hard to imagine that match is on his agenda.
Adam Copelands return to AEW will come eventually. Hopefully, Adam Cole will be waiting for him whenever that day comes.
We will have to see what happens next in this situation. Adam Cole is just getting back into the groove of things after a long hiatus due to an ankle injury. That came shortly after he had to miss a ton of time due to multiple concussions. Hopefully, Adam Coles current run in AEW can go a lot longer without any injury roadblock.
