CM Punks time in AEW had its ups and downs, with several controversies overshadowing his run, including the infamous All Out 2022 incident. Addressing his previous comments about the situation, Matt Hardy has now clarified rumors about any personal issues he might have had with Punk.

CM Punk made headlines duringhis controversial AEW All Out 2022 press conference, where he publicly criticized The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, and Colt Cabana and it led to a brawl backstage, as the incident is now dubbed as Brawl Out.

While speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardypodcast, Matt Hardy talked about teaming with CM Punk at Survivor Series 2006 and stated he has no personal issues with the Second City Saint.

Hardy admitted that some people think he doesnt like Punk because of his comments about the All Out situation. He explained that while he respects Punk, he feels Punk was wrong for calling out The Elite and Adam Page, which led to problems. Even with that disagreement, Hardy made it clear he appreciates Punks talent and unique presence in wrestling.
