Bobby Lashley isnt wasting any time making waves in AEW. The powerhouse wrestler, who recently signed with the promotion, has his sights set on capturing the AEW World Titleand he wants to do it on the biggest stage possible: AEW All In 2025 in Texas.
Lashley, whos no stranger to championship gold with reigns as ECW, WWE, and TNA World Champion under his belt, revealed his lofty goals during an interview on The Lame Guys podcast. For Lashley, holding the AEW World Title isnt just about personal accolades; its about raising the bar for the entire roster.
I want to be either defending the title or fighting for the title, Lashley declared. Ive won the ECW Title, WWE Title, TNA Title. AEW TitleI want to get it because I can, based on history, background, and who I am. I can have that title, and it would be justified.
But Lashley isnt stopping there. He wants his reign to challenge the AEW locker room, creating a standard that few can meet. Its something for other guys to work towards, Lashley explained. Im not an easy person to get to. When you get to it, you dont necessarily want to be there. I want to get the title match, and I win and win, but now I have the title match and its, Oh s***. Once I do that, I think it would be good for a lot of people at AEW to have that immovable object to get over. I can be that for a lot of people.
Lashleys ambition to become AEWs ultimate immovable object promises to shake up the promotions championship scene. With All In 2025 shaping up to be a historic event, fans are already speculating who might step up to challenge Lashley if he claims the title.
