Jon Moxley isnt holding anything back as he gears up for one of the most anticipated main events of AEW Full Gear. The AEW World Champion is set to put his title on the line against Orange Cassidy, and if his recent comments are any indication, fans should brace for a brutal showdown.
Speaking with TV Insiders Scott Fishman, Moxley hinted that his clash with Cassidy will be a spectacle like no other. Aware of the stakes and the price tag of a pay-per-view event, Moxley promised to push the envelope for fans in attendance and those watching at home.
Moxley also offered a glimpse into his unflinching approach to violence, describing a group chat where he and others exchange clips of gruesome injuries like really bad cuts and hematomas and snaps. While others may feel queasy, Moxley says hes unfazed: It doesnt bother me. I have an iron stomach for that kind of stuff.
But dont mistake him for someone who craves all kinds of gore. I dont like to watch horror movies. The real world is scary enough, Moxley admitted. But if someones arm gets snapped or a leg breaks, everyone wants to throw up. It doesnt bother me at all.
Fans can expect that raw intensity to come alive at AEW Full Gear, with Moxley promising nothing short of mayhem. Since its pay-per-view, I will try to give that to the fans in New Jersey and fans watching on pay-per-view. Something really heinous in the main event on Saturday night.
Jon Moxley isnt just defending the AEW World Titlehes raising the stakes for violence and intensity in pro wrestlings main event scene. With his promise to deliver something heinous at AEW Full Gear, fans are bracing themselves for a brutal clash that could redefine what it means to go all out on pay-per-view. Whether youre Team Mox or backing Orange Cassidy, one things for sure: this match is going to be unforgettable.
