AEW has faced challenges andexperienced gradual declineover the past year and many people believe the company will die soon enough. In light of AEWs biggest naysayers wanting the company to fail, Orange Cassidy has now addressed the same.
While speaking toBill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestling, Orange Cassidy addressed criticism about AEW, responding to comments about the company using smaller arenas, not selling out shows, or having backstage issues. He questioned why people care so much about AEWs challenges and why they actively voice negativity if they want the company to fail.
Cassidy stated that AEW is a young company, just five years old, and has experienced rapid growth thanks to Tony Khans efforts. Challenges and adjustments are a normal part of any companys journey, and AEW is no different. Cassidy believes the leadership is always working hard to deliver the best product, and if changes like moving to different venues are necessary, the company will adapt.
The former International Champion stated that he hopes AEW continues to thrive because wrestling is better when theres competition. For those who want AEW to fail, Cassidy believes their negativity may stem from personal issues, but he chooses not to read such criticism.
MJF has previously defended AEW against critics who claim the company is falling apart. In the meantime, Orange Cassidy continues to support AEW and is wishing for the companys growth despite ongoing criticism. Fans are now looking ahead to 2025 to see if AEW will experience growth and overcome its detractors.
