The match was full of excitement, with interference from Big Justice and plenty of action courtesy of The Rizzler, who played key roles in the bout. AJs tenacity and ability to finish the fight despite his injury were praised by fans and peers alike.
Though AJs AEW journey is off to an inspiring start, this injury will sideline him for the foreseeable future. AEW has not yet provided a timeline for his recovery, but fans are hopeful hell return to bring the Boom! back to the ring soon.
