Ricky Starks has remained absent from AEW television since theMarch 30 episode of AEW Collision and there is no indication he will be back anytime soon. During his hiatus, Starks has now vented frustration over his loss of momentum.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Ricky Starks talked about his current absence, pointing out that he has been at home since his match against Top Flight back in March. He mentioned having a stinger in that match but immediately received medical attention.

The Absolute admitted that it has been frustrating for him, especially since he is in the prime of his career. He was riding a wave of momentum and doing a lot of good things, but suddenly being at home for so long really threw him off. Starks noted that he is not meant to be a homebody at this stage in his life and he is not used to just sitting at home after working so hard for the past 13 years.

Ricky Starks mentioned that while he doesnt have a clear answer about why hes been sidelined, he has plenty of theories. However, without any definitive answers, he didnt want to just speculate or make assumptions. While he would love to know the exact reason, he said that speculation doesnt do any good and only adds to the frustration

Despite being off television, Ricky has stayed in shape, worked out, and even kept practicing in the ring. Hes been traveling and keeping up with the things he can control. Its been tough for him because he feels capable and in good shape, both physically and mentally, and hes eager to get back to doing what he loves.

In the meantime, Ricky Starks made his in-ring return after five months and defeated Kody Lane at Glory Pro Wrestling on November 24th. Prior to that, he made an appearance at GCW Dream On as well, so he is keeping himself busy no matter what. Many fans empathize with Starks frustration as he simply wants to wrestle in AEW and its uncertain whether he will wrestle there anytime soon.
