Gable Steveson, the Olympic gold medalist turned WWE superstar, is opening up about his time with NXT and the WWE Performance Center. Despite his impressive athletic background, Steveson revealed in an interview with Ariel Helwani that his journey wasnt without its challengesand hes reflecting on the lessons learned along the way.

Definitely some getting used to, but as time went on, I did get used to the fact of who I am, Steveson shared. A lot of it is you gotta be comfortable with yourself. If youre not comfortable with yourself, then things wont work. Maybe there could have been a lot of things that I could have done better, yes, but I feel like Im really comfortable with myself, and theres really not much to say on that part.

While Stevesons in-ring appearances were limited, his time at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, helped him adapt to the unique demands of professional wrestling. From refining his skills to understanding the entertainment aspect of WWE, he took the experience in stride while acknowledging room for growth.

Stevesons journey with WWE also gave him a WrestleMania moment in 2022 when he squared off with Chad Gable in an unforgettable confrontation. However, Steveson admitted there was even talk of him potentially wrestling Triple H at the same eventa match that never materialized but still adds intrigue to his budding WWE legacy.
